...rejoice with Joy Unspeakable and full of glory:
                                                                                                        -1 Peter 1:8

Statement of Faith

·      We believe all things were created by God, both the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

·       We believe God  created man, both male and female, in His image. (Genesis  1:27, 11:6-8)

·      We believe that because man willfully disobeyed God, sin entered the world; because of sin, death entered the world. (Genesis 3:6-24, Romans 6:23)

·      We believe in the three persons of the Godhead Body, often referred to as the Trinity; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7)

·      We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, and that He died for our sins that we might be reconciled to God. (Matthew 1:18-24, John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19)

·      We believe that Jesus rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father were He makes intercession for us until the day He comes again for His Bride the Church and take us to the place He has prepared for us. (Matthew 28:6, 16:19, 1 Peter 3:22, Romans 8:34, Matthew 24:27, John 14:1-2)

·      We believe in the resurrection of the dead both sinner and saint; saint to everlasting life in Glory, and the sinner to everlasting punishment in Hell. (1 Thess. 4:13-17,  Rev. 20:6, 10:15, 21:8)

·       We believe that the ordinances of water baptism by immersion, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Lord’s Supper are open only to those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. These ordinances are observed in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ as acts of love and devotion
and are not considered to be necessary for salvation. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:34-36, 19:1-6, I Corinthians 11:17-28)

·      We believe there is one universal Church, made up of all genuine believers, and this one universal
Church is also composed of many local bodies. These bodies are under the leadership of the Lord Jesus Christ, not controlled by outside people or groups.
(Acts 15:22, Matthew 16:18, 18:15-20)

·      We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ, and that He is our abiding helper,
teacher, and guide. (John 14:16-20)

·      We believe in the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit as recorded throughout the New Testament, including the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Church. (Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 6:12-19)

·      We believe in the fivefold ministry of, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers, and that
the office of Apostle is reserves for those who walked with the Risen Savior, and the office of Prophet was an Old Testament office of those who possessed the
gift of prophecy, the gift of prophecy is now a gift of the Holy Spirit and not an office nor title used by members of the Church. (Ephesians 3:5, 4:11-13, John 14:26, 16:7-16)

·       We believe the two governing offices of the
church are pastor and deacon and are reserved for men who meet the Biblical requirements for the office. We do however acknowledge that Godly women of the
church have a very special role as spiritual elders and are encourages to participate in that capacity within the said ministry and may serve as elected ministerial staff in offices other than pastor or deacon. (1 Timothy 3:1-13, Titus 1:7-9)

·       We believe all scripture “The Holy
Bible”
is inspired by God and given for doctrinal instruction. Any further beliefs we may have, that are not stated here, must be sought out in scripture,
and be in line with the teachings of the Bible.
(2 Timothy 3:16)

Mission Statement

    At Joy Unspeakable Ministries our mission is to first carry out the Two Great Commandments given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the Gospel According to Matthew when Jesus was asked by the Pharisee lawyer;

    “Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with
all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy
neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
                                                     -Matthew 22:37-40 (KJV)

     Secondly our mission is to carry out the Great Commission that Jesus gave to His disciples to;
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every
creature.”
                                                                   -Mark 16:15 (KJV)

    Through these two missions our goal is to impact the world around us for the cause of Christ by providing for the spiritual and social needs of those around us. We hope to cross denominational and ethnical barriers to share the "good news" of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by preaching God's Word and demonstrating our faith by our works, the Bible says;

    "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead..."
                                                                    -James 2:17 (KJV)
